Who is responsible

South Devon Resin is the data controller for this website and for the enquiries submitted through it. You can reach us at[email protected].

South Devon Resin is a lead generation service. We are not the firm that carries out installation work.

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the town you selected, the service you selected, and anything you write in the message box. We also record which page the form was submitted from, so we know which content generates enquiries.

We do not collect anything else. There is no account, no tracking pixel and no profiling.

Why, and on what basis

We use these details to respond to your enquiry and to pass it to the installation firm so they can contact you about the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us asking to be contacted back, and handling that is what the form is for. You can object at any time and we will stop.

Who your details are shared with

Your enquiry is passed to an independent installation firm covering your area, so they can contact you about the work. They become responsible for your details from that point. We will name that firm here once the arrangement is in place.

We also use two service providers to handle enquiries. Resend delivers the notification email, and a Google Sheet records the enquiry as our own log of what the site has generated. Both involve your details being processed on servers in the United States.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for twelve months, after which the personal details are removed. We keep the date and the service type beyond that, with nothing that identifies you, because the count of enquiries is what the site is measured on and that count needs no personal detail at all.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you have not been asked.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email[email protected]and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.
